His Divine Grace Sat Guru Baba Brahmananda Maharaja or Srila Guru Maharaja, as he is affectionately called by disciples, was born in llakin Pur Kiri, on November 13th , 1931. Disciple of the great Sat Guru and Siddha, His Divine Grace Sat Guru Baba Mastramji Maharaja, whom he met for the first time in 1971. During the years Srila Guru Maharaja has been transformed into a living example of the wisdom of his great master. During his live, Baba Brahmananda personally met great Spiritual Masters from whom he received guidance and inspiration, among them Ananda Ma and His Holiness Swami Sivananda.
